Bible Time Report

Praise the Lord for 50 salvation decisions so far this week! I think our entire church is involved in some way in teaching, bringing young people, serving food, praying or leading kids to Christ.

Bible Time!

Our first 2 nights are history at Neighborhood Bible Time. We've enjoyed some really crazy games and some good preaching. Our folks have worked hard at promoting this meeting and the Lord has blessed. Last night there were over 250 in attendance and we recorded 23 salvation decisions. Praise the Lord! We're just getting started...

Command Sergeant Major Rob Scott

"Thou therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." II Timothy 2:3 I was honored today with several others from Lakeside to attend the retirement ceremony for CSM Rob Scott at Ft. Gordon. It was a very moving event as several superiors and soldiers spoke passionately about Bro. Rob's testimony throughout his 25 years in the Army. As his Pastor and friend, I was extremely proud and as an American I am very grateful for his dedicated service to our country.
Bro. Rob then stood and spoke to the many there about his Savior, the Scott Family and the Soldiers. Great 3 point outline Rob! The Lord has not only called Rob to preach but has also given him great speaking ability.
He also invited all the soldiers that don't attend a church to come visit Lakeside. Pray with us as we partner with Rob to begin a Military Ministry. He has already been bringing soldiers lately on Sunday morning. We're thankful that the Scotts are staying in the area and expect to see Rob much more involved at Lakeside as he studies for the ministry.
Thanks Rob for the invitation to attend today.
By the way, Kyndra, that is the most amazing cake I have ever seen!

Pastor Allen Rash presents Tyler a camp t-shirt. I enjoyed preaching this week for Trinity Baptist children's camp. It brought back a lot of good memories from my 20+ years of youth ministry. Bro. Allen is one of the best Children's Pastors I've ever known.
