In Asheville for Jubilee
Thank you for praying for me as I preach at the Land of the Sky Jubilee in the morning. It's a little like returning home because I had the joy of serving for 4 years as Assistant Pastor to Bro. Ralph Sexton in Asheville. You might enjoy watching the service at 10am Thursday morning at www.tbcasheville.com.
We will be praying for all our folks at Lakeside tonight and look forward to some of you coming up for the Friday evening service with David Gibbs and the Whisnants.

Men for Missions to Maine
Six of our men from Lakeside started on the journey to Maine on Friday. They plan to make it in time to enjoy the Sunday services at Calvary Baptist in Sanford with Pastor Todd Bell. Eight more of us will be flying up early on Monday to join the team.
You can follow our progress on the Men for Missions blog at http://menformissions.blogspot.com/
Thank the Lord for our 2 new vans! One is on the way to Maine and the other is transporting our other team to the Charlotte airport. Just tools for the ministry.

Sunday Report
Wow! What an unbelievable day this past Sunday at Lakeside. After seeing over 60 children and teens make salvation decisions during Bible Time, it sure was a blessing to see 3 adults walk the aisle and get saved Sunday morning. Bro. Rob is helping us begin a Ft. Gordon ministry and we were excited that 2 of those adults are soldiers.
Then the testimony time was sweet and challenging on Sunday night. I am certainly thrilled that so many people were stirred by participating in our local mission trip during Bible Time. Keep it up! We cannot park and rest.
Pray for the 14 men who are going to Maine this week to help Pastor Todd Bell with a renovation project. We are looking forward to the services this Sunday with the Hometown Quartet and the BBQ sandwich meal.
Pray for America to turn back to God!
