Easter Sunday

We certainly enjoyed a great day yesterday celebrating our risen Lord Jesus. The church was filled again, well over 500, and we were thrilled to have 7 new believers follow the Lord in baptism. Took up another fun offering for a missionary, Johnnie Bates and family. Praise the Lord for the great response. We enjoyed rejoicing with the Atkinson family too for the 50th anniversary of Skip and Deanna. Then we all took a trip to Israel last night with the Georges as we viewed their well prepared presentation. By the way, we plan to take a church trip to the Bible Lands in 2011 as there were a large number expressing an interest to walk where Jesus walked.
